The Great Resignation – building team resilience to support women to overcome burnout and overwhelm

Team resilience and personal wellbeing have come under the spotlight in the last two years like never before. Evidence from exit interviews when people leave an organisation show that diminished motivation, poor work/life balance and burnout are some of the factors contributing to people leaving the workplace in greater numbers than before.

Research shows that female resilience declined drastically compared to male counterparts after the Covid pandemic (The Wraw Resilience Report). And anecdotal evidence suggests that all of these reasons contribute to the decision that women do not go for promotion or to wish to step up to take on leadership challenges. If you’re a leader of people, then team resilience is affecting productivity and can be a bottleneck on growth for your organisation.

But what can you do about it?  Attend this session with Sarah Travers of Bespoke Communications to learn more about simple tools that you can use to develop team resilience to support women in your teams through challenge and overwhelm.

Sarah is joined by Lesley-Ann Smyth, Spirit Aerosystems and Jenna Bell, Chartered Institute of Building.
